Espirito Santo Basin
Explore prospect potential with broadband 3D seismic data
CGG seismic data sets provide unprecedented clarity and deliver spectacular images of potential prospects within this basin. At the southern end of the Espirito Santo Basin lies a contiguous 22,000 km2 volume of high-quality 3D seismic data that extends our coverage at the northern end of the pre-salt.
Products and Processing Highlights
Deliverables include gravity and magnetic data, a TTI RTM PSDM and a TTI Kirchhoff PSDM featuring:
- Latest 3D deghosting
- Internal multiple attenuation (IMA)
- Advanced full-waveform inversion, including RFWI for ESIV and time-lag FWI for ES III repressing
Products available for the original ES III survey also include a high-resolution shallow hazard 3D PSTM and an anisotropic Kirchhoff PSTM
Espirito Santo III Reprocessing
Acquired using BroadSeis™ technology, the original 9,728 km2 data set provides spectacular images of potential prospects in the region. The reprocessing project includes state-of-the-art processing techniques to deliver unprecedented clarity and delineation of the unique subsurface geological structures.
Espirito Santo IV
This 12,460 km2 survey covers an area of distinctive geological domains, and includes the Turmalina block, at the northern edge of the prolific pre-salt region. The complex salt geometry includes overhangs, stratified and non-stratified salt. CGG’s Time-Lag FWI and high-end imaging will help better evaluate this prospective block, now part of Brazil’s Permanent Offering initiative.
