Isolate hydrocarbons effectively through advanced extraction and fractionation
We obtain a detailed understanding of the hydrocarbon composition within samples, facilitating valuable insights for a wide range of applications, from oil and gas exploration to environmental assessments. Our comprehensive approach to extraction and fractionation includes:
- Identify complex hydrocarbon compounds within samples identified as promising source rocks via Rock-Eval® analysis
- Extract hydrocarbons using either solvent-based methods, such as cold dichloromethane (DCM), or cold hexane extraction
- Precisely separate and analyze extracted hydrocarbons into their individual components via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS)
